Here’s a brief overview of the custom process:
Consultation: Have a vision? Great. Don’t have a vision? That’s great too. Based on your contact form I will reach out and try to get a feel for your personality, ideas for what you’re looking for and some information about the event you’re attending. Do you have specific colors in mind? Fabric? Silhouette? All of this will be incorporated into the designs that I create for you. This step is usually done through email or over the phone but can be in person as well.
Design Presentation / Selection: Then I’m off to the races. I might ask to see your instagram, facebook, or other social media account to get a feel for your style. I also use it as a reference when sketching designs. Since I’m designing for you I want to sketch you in the designs ;) A minimum of three design sketches will be presented along with fabric swatches. Modifications can be made on the spot. Lastly, I’ll take your measurements. As you’ve probably guessed, this step must be done in person.
Once a fabric and design are selected, I will provide the price of your custom garment.
Fittings: Custom garments typically require 2 - 3 fittings, but may require more depending on the complexity of the design.
Final Pickup: After the final tweaks are made and payment is received, the garment is yours! We hope you’ll tag us in your smokin’ hot IG post ;)
